If I step out on faith, God,

will You hold my hand?

If I venture onto untrodden soil, Father,

will You protect me from sinking sand?

If I enter into the shadows of the unknown, Creator,

will You stay steady by my side?

If I walk through unfamiliar territory, Almighty,

will You continue to unwaveringly abide?

If I take the higher road with You, King,

will You keep me from looking down?

If I join You on the water, Majesty,

will You hold me so I won't drown?

If I brave the greater will of life, Holy One,

will You help me to fulfill my destiny?

If I stumble in uncertainty at times, Master,

will You be so kind as to carry me?

If I try to turn back from new paths, Lord,

will You block me with a needed reprimand?

I am stepping out on faith, God,
