In the Arms of
Faith
My heart cries out to my
Lord,
“Help me Father, I am in
need!”
Hoping desperately for a
miracle,
while lacking enough faith
to fill the shell of a mustard seed.
I seek the shelter of His
protective arms,
then in uncertainty try to
assist the One to whom I pray!
I, His own creation
doubting He can do it on His own
as He continues to
carefully lead me out of His way.
I am amazed at my own lack
of faith
After He flaunts His Godly
power.
Yet, when trouble finds me
again,
I find myself right back
in that doubting hour.
Forgive my foolish ways,
Father!
Without you I fear the
future I would come to know.
Teach me to relax in faith
instead of squirming in doubt.
Thank you for not tiring
of me Father, and simply letting
go.
