God’s Garden of
Life
In the beginning, God
created the earth
and sprinkled it with a
floral bouquet.
He took fragrant petals
and coordinated them in a
grand array.
Sweet Peas, hydrangeas,
and blue bells
cast a colorful
display.
Lilacs, gardenias, and
tulips
danced in fresh soils of
the land.
Buttercups, daisies, and
honeysuckles
thrived beneath the care
of His hand.
Sunflowers, morning
glories and violets
were so beautiful they
teased the tear gland.
Upon completion, God
invited His angels
to observe His newest
creation.
He watched as they admired
the blossoms
down to the smallest
carnation.
God then asked them to
identify the loveliest
of His floral
decoration.
The angels unanimously
chose the bloom
with the most graceful of
poses.
We have since been blessed
with that flower
right under our
noses.
In God’s Garden of Life,
mothers are the
roses.
