Still
Waters
He
leadeth me beside the still waters. ~
Psalm 23:2 KJV
Y
When discord wells
within and my soul screams for
release,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His peace.
When the torrents
of chaos swarm and my soul seeks a hiding
place,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His grace.
When guilt from my
transgressions seizes my soul like an
illness,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His forgiveness.
When depression
looms and my soul grieves from its’
crudeness,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His goodness.
When shadows form
and my soul fears oncoming
oppressions,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His protection.
When the fires of
consequence rage and my soul seeks
exemption,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His redemption.
When the depths of
hostility lurk and my soul reaches for deliverance
above,
I walk alongside
the still waters of His love.
Y
He restoreth my
soul. ~ Psalm
23:3 KJV
