When depression looms and my soul grieves from its’ crudeness,

I walk alongside the still waters of His goodness.

When shadows form and my soul fears oncoming oppressions,

I walk alongside the still waters of His protection.

When the fires of consequence rage and my soul seeks exemption,

I walk alongside the still waters of His redemption.

When the depths of hostility lurk and my soul reaches for deliverance above,
